Alita Tithphit is a food technologist and young entrepreneur with a strong interest in building sustainable and inclusive food systems. She studied Food Technology at Wageningen University & Research, where she combined technical training with courses in business, circular economy, and community development. Through R&D projects, product reformulation, and innovation challenges, she has gained experience in connecting scientific insights with practical solutions for food system challenges.

Alongside her studies, Alita has been active in academic society and professional communities. She served as Public Relations Commissioner at Nicolas Appert, Wageningen’s food sciences study association, where she connected food companies with future talents and strengthened collaboration between education and industry. She also founded SEASAW (Southeast Asian Student Association Wageningen), creating a community for Southeast Asian students and friends to share culture, grow leadership skills, and support one another during their studies. These roles gave her valuable experience in marketing, events, and stakeholder engagement.

At ASEANcham-EU, Alita supports events and marketing, with the aim of helping to build bridges between ASEAN and European communities. With her Cambodian roots and cross-cultural background, she is motivated to learn, contribute, and grow while supporting the chamber’s mission of fostering collaboration and opportunity.
